The beautiful and bio-diverse
Mozambique environment is truly one
of the last great wildlife refuges left
in the world. However, lack of economic
opportunity and conservation policies
are forcing the people of Mozambique
to over utilize their natural resources.
As a result, this beautiful country
on the southeastern coast of Africa
is being deforested at 1% a year and
has lost 70% of its wildlife since 1975.
Our objective is to begin to reverse
these dire circumstances in our areas
of operations in Mozambique. .

Our strategy is to partner with private
ecotourism companies, local communities,
and other not-for-profit organizations
to achieve the mutual goals of improving
conservation, healthcare and education.
We take direct action in the by training,
equipping and deploying game scouts
in order to reduce the sale of illegal
“bushmeat,” elephant ivory and to control
over-fishing in its waterways. |

We
also work with organizations and other
specialists to further study, manage,
and preserve the flora and fauna of
Mozambique. Integral to our strategy
is educating the indigenous population
as to the economic value of their environmental
resources.
Our mission is to assist Mozambicans
with social development while taking
measures to protect the fragile eco-systems
of their environment.
